Another big film novelty is the fea- ture at the Breed today and is enti- tled War's Havoc. It deals with a young southern bride whose husband is in the confederate forces, encamp- ed near his old home. Word is re- celved that hundreds of .bluecoats, loaded on flat cars, are on their way gouth. The bride keeps her husband posted and attempts to stall the fed- erals by cutting off communication by talegraph, but the operator has sent enough of the message to serve his purpose. Thus thwarted, she takes her oM Mammy Fanny, and goes to the raflroad, and, at the point of re- velver, compels the fireman to take to the woods, and the engineer is made to drive the engine with the two wom- en aboard. Soon the locomotive dashes upon a high trestle, the oncom- ing train bearing the bluecoats steam- ing towards them. The englneer is forced to leap and the women jump in- to the river. With a crash the two locomotives come together and the breve women have saved the day. A strong Biograph play appears on the bfll, and An Episode of the Win- fer at Valley Forge.
