The most successful concert and balt ever given by White Cross council, No. 13, Knights of Columbus, and one which ‘will rank high among the social functions at the armory, was that held Friday evening at the armory, when there was an attendance of about 500. The armory had been decorated in vel- low and white, the organization’s col- crs, making a decidedly pretty effect, with the brilliant electric lights. While the gathering was assembling Miller's augmented orchestra of 12 Dleces gave a greatly appreciated con- cert of five numbers which received much applause, the piccolo solo by Ed- ward A, Breed being particularly fine. The programme was as follows: Mrs. Thusa Gidman Turner has left g#r home in Lebanon for Winterhaven, olkk county, Florida, where she ex- pects to remain with Lebanon friends until next May or June, Mr. and Mrs and Mrs. Frank I ohue, nie Williams Ear] Herrick. r. and Mrs, Thomas Crawford Crawford, Tmaine Gregoire of Union left fcr Canada, where she will coniinue her studies at the Con- vent of tie Presentation de Marie.
