ml. TODAY; }'All AID WARMER TOHODIDW. WHAT IS GOING ON TONIGHT Vaudevilie and motion pictures at the Auditorium. Moying. Pic the Breed The- es ai o of up to da va is gracing theater for ent week edp. ent every performance. The act is comrpos- ed of three colorgd singers and danc- ers, who keep things humming with their bright comedy. catchy song num- bers, rendered in good voice, and an ec- centric dance by one of the male mem- bers of the act. which is very well ex- ecuted. Full of originality is Walter Stead, the English coster singer, who puts over a line of exceptionally clever songs of which he himself is composer, and which win for him much well de- served applause at each performance. The baseball fiends, Davis and Poilak, are presenting a neat talking sketoh for the first hmlf of the week, and are pleasing all who see them. The moticn pletures are all clear and interesting. BREED THEATER. The large crowds at the Breed last evening were regaled with one of the best and most varied bills of motion pictures of the season, perhaps the most sensational being the great story of East Africa, entitled Back to the Primitive. In this picture, a party consisting of three—a young lady and two gentlemen— are shipwrecked, and after floating on a raft for several days finally land on the African coast. The hours are fuil of terror for them, and to protect themselves from the re- peated attacks of the ferocious lions, they build a sort of stockade, in which they are compelled to spend their time. | They put up signals of distress, but | passing ships appear to disregard them. Finally news reaches civilization, and rellef reacheés theum just as they are about to be devoured by the lions, one of the animals being promptly de—‘ spatched by an English soldier. The | appearsnce of several lions roaming the jungles, together with the elephants used as a means of transportation, add a singularly thrilling touch of realism to_the whole picture. The Phoney Prince, and The Mani- ecure Lady, two of the best comedies of the vear, keep the house screaming with laughter.
