Hartford, Conn., March 14.—The pe- titions of the New Haven Water com- pany and the Milford Water company for amendments to charters which in effect would give those companies the right to take water from ponds which now' furnish Miiford with its ‘water supply drew to the capitol this after- noon several score of Milford citizens. and @ lively hearing was held before the ' incorporations committes.
