Kennedy, presided. Funeral of Wil am Purdon. The death of William Purdon, infant #on of James and Annie Kelleher Pur- <on, occurred Wednesday afternoon at the horne of his parents, at No. 3% Prospect street. The child had been sick for several days and death was caused by cerebral hemorrhage. The funeral was held at 3 oclock of the same day. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery, Mrs. Lord Breaks Ankle. Mrs. Delia Lord of North Main street, slipped on an icy pavement, and fell, breaking her ankle, early Wed- nesday morning, while on her way to the mill where she is employed. A doctor was summoned and Mrs. Lord was taken to the home of her dangh- ter, Mrs. Ryan, on Prospect street. She will probably be confined to her home for several weeks. Personals. Frank Butler of Seventh street spent Wednesday with friends in Williman- tic. Miss Lillian Booth broke her arm recently and was taken to the Backus hospital for treatment. Mrs. P. H.
