Held on Tuesday Evening—Verdict of Guility in Bannon Liquor Nuisance Case — Sentence Deferred — Mary Costanzo’s Parents Refuse to Admit Repentant Daughter—Relief Corps 10 the case aguinst Thomas J. Dan. indicted for maintaining a liquor Buisance, which was commenced Mon- day, Mrs. Bentha Harzington, wife of Thomas Harrington of Pawcatuck, tes- tified that she bought half a pint of whiskey at Bamnon’s for her husband, who was sick at the time. This was on April 7, wien the poison whiskey scare prevadied. Owing to the deaths from alieged wood adcobol poisonine. she was afrald to give the liquor 1o ber husband. It smelled lie wihiskey But neither the witness or her husband tasted it. Subsequantly the bottle was wealed and dabeled and given to a man named Perry, representing some state deparment, gresnmediy for analyein Mrs. Harrington identified the bottle in court. Clifford E.
