Rood, nearly 90 years old and a long time resident of Moosup, has lately suffered two paralytic shocks which have rendered him nearly help- less. He is probably the cldest Mason in town. Good Berry Season. The berry season, which is drawing to a close, has been a good one. From some of the pastures as many as 75 bushels have been taken, most of the crop going to Providence markets. Classes’ Reunion. Wednesday evening the _graduating classes of the Plainfield High school held a reunion at the home of Supt. J. L. Chapman, there being present a large number from the classes of 1908, 1909 and 1910. Games were enjoved and piano solos were rendered by Miss Mildred McStay and Miss Mae Kenne- dy. The purpose of the meeting was to renew acquointances and establish an alumni association, the object of which will be to enable the members of the graduating classes to keep in touch with each other and to promote the interests of the school. Tracy, and three sons, Clarence of South Manchester, Herbert L., who was married Jan. 1st of this year and resided with his mother, and C. A. D. Tracy, who also lived with his mother, a granddaughter, Miss Edith M. Wil‘ liams, and two sisters, Mrs. Elsle A. Bliven of this place and Mrs. Eugene Kimball of Scotland, and a brother, John Moffitt, also of Scotland. Mrs. Tracy was before marriage Miss Rs- ther A. Moftt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Moffitt. She married for her first husband Mr. Chapman, who died, and she later marrfed Juilus Tracy, who for many vears was manager of the town farm in this place until his death, fourteen years ago. Mrs. Tracy and her children then moved onto their farm, Pleasant View. Her eldest daughter, Edith L., wife of Fred H. ‘Williams, died, leaving an infant daughter, for whom she cared until her death. Mrs, Tracy was a member of the M. P. church of this place and was a great helper, alwayas ready to do a kind act and lénd a helping hand. The funeral was held Friday, the 2Sth, at the M. P. church. It was largely at- tended. Burial was beside her hus- band, Jullus Tracy, in the church cem- etery at the Center. The funeral ser- mon was by her pastor, the Rev. George . Smith.
