Bidwell spent the week- end at Eastern Point B Lightning Strikes Francis Desony’s House — Seven Wires in Piano Broken and Mrs. Desony Shocked— National Band’s Large Audience. Concert Pleases During the thunder shower Monday night the dwelling house of Francis Desony in Union village was struck by Hghtning, the bolt passing down the ehimney to the basement below and passed out of an open window. Sev- eral brick were thrown off of the chimney and plastering in some of the rooms was torn off. Seven of the wires in a piano which stood near the chimney were broken. Mrs. Desony, who stood at the sink washing dishes, received a slight shock. b Henry Besette is critically ill a severa attack of typhoid fever. Mrs. E. G.
