The reels comedy, drama and _ scenes the strenuous life of the west that are as amusing, interesting and true to life as pictures can be made to be. The Modern Messenger Boy is a full reel of comedy of the clean kind and Izzy’s adventures are the limit for fun. The picture entitled Motherless is by Pathe and is based on the story found in the famous drama, The Two Orphans. Both actors and photogra- plhers have performed their parts sat- isfactorily, producing a picture which #= popular wherever shown, The Buck- ing Broncho picture supplies a repro- duction of some thrilling scenes from western life, showing the work of breaking a bucking broncho, lasso throwing amd other pursults of the picturesque cowboy. Other good pic- tures. “WITH PEARY IN THE ARCTIC” The Dash to the Pole was not a one- man affair but a campaign which had taken months of planning and the co- ration of many trained mind Peary at last started, everything Bad Deen as carefully prepared as is dome Zor the launching of an ocean vessel Prof. MacMillan is one of the trained experts who made Peary's suc- cess ible. Accompanving him far on his way_ he gave his leader the final send-off and then labored unre- mittingly during his long absence te make the return safe, no matter on what shore Peary might land. Trained in science, skilled in navi- wation, keen and alert to observe, with 2 personelity which charms from first to last, ke it is who teils the story of the Dash to the Pole even better than Peary himse The stereopticon views of Esquimaux, dogs, musk-ox and walrus, and the wonderful weird scemery of the Arctlo regions make the lecture the more en- Joyable and the more to be remem- bered. Tonight at 815 at the Broad- way theatrs BREED THEATRE. “The Ranch Girf's Legacy,” Thrilling Western Feature. In the screamingly funny picture- story of the Ranch Girl's Legacy, the Breed has secursd the funniest and yet the most exciting western picture since The Pemt Man Wina, and the patrons may be assured of one of the best bills of the season for the balance of the week 1In this bright western story, a Poston south recelves noutication that e is one of his uncle'’s heirs to & million dollars and a big ranch in the west, providing that he marry a youn, niecé of the deceased uncle, who is also an beiress in this estate. Both young parties feel that the se- lection of a life partner, should be left 1o themseives, as neither have seen each other. The young mman takes a trip west to see the voung lady, and both are of one mind, and decide that each will be as ridiculous as possible before the other. and as a result, each will be disgusted and refuse to marry. The mcreaming situations that follow, are 00 ridiculous to mention, and the whole picture ends happily, after con- wulsing the spectators. Another big feature picture is the great story of Spanish Dominion entitled In Old California, and the fact that it is a Blograph output, settles the fact of its excellence. Another big feature containing 1,000 feet of motion picture perfection, is entitled Told in the Golden West, and f2 as thrilling as could be desired Mr. Ray will be heard in a new programme of illuserated songs THE AUDITORIUM. The success of the bill for the first gart of the week will no doubt be @uplicated by Thursday's ehow which two special feature acts. The male end of the team ~who represents the “Scarecrow” forces one to believe he is really made of straw and rags, after the antics he es through.
