The Railroad Committee of the Board of Aldermen ‘will bold their final meeting to-morrow afternoon for ‘the purpose of iaking into consideration the proposal to heat the city railroad cars auring the cold season, Alderman Cole stated yesterday to the Henan repre- sentative that there was little doubt but that the com- muttee would report in favor of the passage of an ordinance to compel the railroad companies to confer this boon upon along suffering public, Mr. Cole is bitterly opposed to the railroad corporations and de- slares that he will leave no stone unturned to take them spend some of their enormous profits in providing proper accommodation in their city pas- Benger cars.
