New Jera:y Central convertible declined 1 per cent, selling down to 86, and consolidated firsts 4% per cent, selling down to 973; Hannibal and St. Joseph convertible fell off to 75, Northwestern consoli- dated gold coupons to 934, and Ohio and Mississipp! consolidated sinking tand to 92 Mor and Essex sold at 120, do. consolidated at 101, and Albany and Suequehanna seconds at 108. In the later transactions Lehigh and Wilkesbarre consolidated advanced from 67 sales to 70 bid. The following were the closing quo- tations for Pacific Railroad bonds :—Union firsts, 106%, to 1067{; Union land grants, 10434 to 105},, Union sinking funds, 91% to 92; Centrals, 111 to 111%. THR FORRIGN MARKET. ‘The London advices report consols still weaker on the success of the United States new 414 per cent loan, while American bonds were strong and higher. Erio suffered a still further decline of 44 a 34 per cent for the common and 1aljg per cent for tho preferred. There was a slight falling off in rentes at the Paris Bourse.
