re THE CHEESE TRADE. ‘The Committee on Cheese, cousisting of five mem- ters of the Produce Exchange identified with that trade, yesterday adopted a set of rules to govern it. ‘It was decided that a fee of $15 should be charged for every reference case; that on all sales of cheese (when Bot otherwise agreed upon) the seller shall have the Fight todemand payment at the time of passing the title, and, if the buyer requires it, the: selicr must, when practicable, transfer the property to such vessel or warehouse as the buyer may designate, but that tho title remains vested in the seller until conveyed by delivery of the proper documents, In the absence of agreement all cheese purchased ‘in store’? be understood as being ready and designed for imriediate delivery, but the buyer is to have forty- eight hours in which to have such cheese inspected and weights testea. The testing shall be by a regu- imted city weigher, who shall be a member or roduce Exchange, and bis fees shall be pid by the seller; not ices than five boxes or more than ten per cent of the whole lot shall bea test.
