The Stock Market Unsteady, but Prices Stronger at the Close. Lake Shore, Northwestern and St. Paul common, Western Unton, Wabash, Obio and “Mississippi, Rock Island and Erie, all ‘partictpated in the downward movement, and it ‘was Not until the second cali that a firmer feeling ‘was manifested. Pacific Mail then showed a re- covery of 1% per cent, and the improvement in ‘the remainder of the list ranged from X to % per cent.
