Saaier, the latest addition to the State line, was thrown open for inspection yesterday. She ts in every way equal to any steamsnip in the Atian- tic service. She was launched in the latter part | of August from the yard of Thomas Wingate, of Glasgow, in a completely finished condition, and made her first passage very successfully. The State of Indiana ts 330 Jeet in iengtn, 36 feet beam | and 28 feet deep. She will accommodate 80 first cabin, 30 second cabin and 500 steerage pas- sengers.
