Northwest common in the early dealings declining trom 38% ta 87%, Pacific Mail from 46% to 46%, St. Paul com- Mon from 34% to 343, and Union Pacific trom 29 to 28%; but the changes in the remainder of the ss were only 3 & 5¢ per cent, chiefly in a down- ward direction. At the second call the market Was dull and steady.
