The members of the Tweed Testimonial Associa- tion were called together in the pariors of the Ort- ental Club, yesterday afternoon, by Judge Shandley, to take Senator Tweed’s letter declining the pro. posed statue into consideration. The attendance was very full. The treasurer read a statement, by which it appears that $7,973 is the entire amount cellected toward the accomplishment of the object of the organization. The treasurer was then di- rected to return the amoun ts of subscription to the subscribers.
