Wayne supported tho present member, George W. Cowles, and gave bim her twelve votes in conven- tion. Cayuga pressed George I, Post with her twelve vores, and Seneca cast her six votes for John #8. Seeley. One hundred and thirty-four ballots wero had withont any change. On the one hundred and uirty-firth, Caynga yielded her preference and voted for Nr.
