Eckerson, Jr., the supposed princtpal in the murder of I’eve Stokum—the iull details of which appeared in the HFRALD of yesterday—was arrested on Monday evening and locked up in the county jail at Hackensack, The Coroner’s jury, without find- ing a verdict, was adjourned until Tuesday next. Eckerson had found time to wash his clothing, it is said, before he was arrested, although the avbiu- Wonary process falled to obliterate evidence of Diood spots.
