Antwerp, Feb. 15, 1868, Great excitement prevails in this city in conse- quence of the progress of a very extensive and destructive fire which is now raging among the shipping in the port, The flames burst out from a ship having two hundred barrels of petroleum on board, after fully enveloping that vessel. The fire was quickly communicated to two other shiye which bad been lately anchored near to the one first attacked and spread in af alarming manner. Three other vessels lying in the neighborhood are now in great danger, as the conflagration is assuming larger proportions every mement, not- withstanding the very spirited exertions which are being made to subdue it. Alurry and alarm prevail to such an extent at the water's edge that it is impossible to obtain any connected account of the origin of the disaster or even the names of the burning vessele. ITALY. The entertainment was on a grand scale and of @ truly royal character, the superior officers of the navy and army of Italy attending in uniform. A legislative banquet was arranged for Friday in honor of the American Admiral, and came off in fine style at the appointed hour. The Senators of Italy, with the members of the Chamber of Deputies, attended. The Minister of Marine of Italy presided.
