Yesterday was one of the busiest days in trans- actions in Brooklyn real estate “within the recol- lection of the oldest inhabitants,” and in respect to the prices realized a most noticeable one. Tie best sales were those made at the city sales- room by J. Cole, who was favored by a congr gation of capitalists, comprising many belonging to this city, who in their eagerness to se- cure some of the lots offered sent them kiting to the extent that prices were obtained far in advance of even what was hoped for, much loss expected. ‘The tellowing are the particulars of the sale:—Four Gothic cottages on the east side ot Hamilton street, distant 275 feet south from Myrue avenue. ‘he houses next to Myrtle avenue, 25 by 36 feet 6 inches; the others 27 feet wide by 36 feet 6 inches deep, exclusive of piazza in front. The houses are two story, with attic und basement, and contain ten roon each, bathroom, gas, &c.; and each house has a lot and a half of land with it.
