The total registration in the State is 216,494, of which the whites bave 115,113 and the blacks 101,381, giving the former s majority of 13,732. The Electi in the State—The Li- cense Men Ahe Boston, vt, 22, 1867, 10 o’Clock P. M. Massachusetts politics have come nearer a focus to- wight than at any time during the campaig! Sena- torial and Representative caucuses have been held all over the state since the beginning of the week, and in spite of despondent anticipations the license law men have thus far gained the power. Both the prohibitionists and the advocates of license are working sharply, ox- pending moncy freely and giving an air of excitement to the canvases. Both parties are loud in boasting of their gains. The favorites of probibition as well as thore of license are confident of controling both House and ve in the next legisiative body.
