Tho French mait steamship Ville de Paris, Captain Sur. mont, which left Brest on Saturday the 22d of June, arrived at this port vesterday evening, with one hund- red and forty passengers, and a full cargo, ‘The Ville do Paris landed our European fites, in detail of our cable despatches, aa late as English mails of the Java due from Boston this evening. A supplement to the /ivre Jaune or Yellow Rook of France, presented to the members of both Chambers, is exclusively devoted to the diplomatic documents relating to the affair of Luxomburg, extending to eighty-eeven pages, The interest of those papers is altogether retro- spective, and they throw very little additional light on the subject. In addition, many of them have already appeared in print, so that the principal merit of the publication is to bring together, in tho order of date, the various papers connected with the subject. The Vienna Gacette ot Sune 19, referring to a rumor received by severai journals, declares that it is com- pletely false that Prince Gortschakoff had declined, as being hostile to the interests of Russia, the offers of ser- vices made by Austria to the Cabinet of St. Petersburg on the subject of the revision of the Treaty of 1856, The Cabinet of Vienna, in a despatch addressed to Prince Metternich, dated the lst of January, concerning the settlement of the Eastern question, raised also that of the revision of the Treaty of 1856, But this proposition having met with no rosponse from the other Powers, Austria has bad no occasion to renow it, Prince Hambert of ttaly is to go to Vienna when he leaves Paris, Apartmonts were prepared for him in the imperia! palace. Tho presence of their Austrian Majesties in France will coincide, it is said, with that of the Sultan, and even, if we may believe a Vienna journal, with that of Victor Emanuel. This reconciliation, in some sort personal, completing that of Italy with Austria, will not take place until after the visit of Prince Humbort to Vienna. As to the meeting between the Emperor Fran- cis Joseph and the Sultan, it is so positive that the latter, it is ailirmed, has already been informed of it in the most obliging terms by his Austrian Majesty him- self. ‘The marrisge of Princo Paul Demidoif with the Prin- cess Meschersky took place in Paris, June 19, at the Russian chureb, with great pomp. The witnesses of tle Count were the Duchess de Morny—serran! de more assive—as is called in Ri the lady who prosents the bridegroom the altar; Prince Anatole Domidot ; Prince Galitzine, groom of honor, and Prince Moscher- sky. Those of the bride were the Grand Duchess Maria of Rassia—serrant de mere assise—Field Marsbal Baria- tinski, uncle of the bride, and the Prince of Lontchten- berg, groom of honor, Among the jadies of honor of the Princess were the Grand Duchess Eagenie, and the daughters of the Princesses Czernicheff, Baratesching, Labanolf and Hamilton, The attendance of persous known in the fashionable world was exceedingly num- erous. The young lady, itis known, had beon greatly admired by the Grand Duke, heir to the throne of Russia, before his marriage with the Princess Dagmar, and the Emperor Alexander himself brought about this union between Count Pant Demidoff and the Princess. The Mémorial Diplomatique bas the following : The announcement that Lord Lyons will at once re- place Lord Cowley in the beginning of July as English ambassador at the Cenrt of the Tuileries is premature. Lord Cowley will not quit his post until after the distri- bution of prizes fixed for the Ist of July, and at which ‘will be present the Prince of Wales as President of the English Commission of the Universal Exhibition. As to Lord Lyons, he will accompany the Sultan to London and will preserve bis character as Ambassador to the Porte until the return of the Sultan to the Continent. The Independence Belge sa A Rassian journal which represents loss the ideas of the government of St. Petersburg than the aspirations of the old Russian party—the Moscow Gazet!»—rofers to the presence of the Czar ia Paris, for the purpose of declar- ing that Ruesia and France have become fused as by a miracie, and that this took place from the very moment of the attempt made upon the two soverrigns. From an alliance oliensive and defensive the distance, riter observes, is short. The Muscovite print en- this close connection is conv to the two countries by their reciprocal intere: still more by the faults which the Western caused France to commit than by the advantage which Rossia might hope to gain by it. Ail American children under twelve years of age, with tl nurses, will be admitted free, All citizens of the United States in Europe wore invited to Join in this celevracion. The Emperor of Austria had abandoned bis intention of making a tour in Huncary in consequence of the bereavement which the imperial family euffered from the death of the Archduchess Matilda and the wnexpecto! decease of the Prince of Tour and Taxie, who married in 1858 the Princess Isabella of Bavaria, elder sister of the Empress of Austria. Baron de Boust, before returning to Vienna after the coronation ceremony, had a long interview with the Primate Archbishop of Hangary. The Austrian Minister solicited the active co-operation of the Hangorian Epis copacy, in order to remove the difficulties attendant on the revision of the Concordat, as asked for by the last address of the Chamber of Deputies to the Reichsrath. The Archbishop repliod that the Concordat inno way affected the privileges and rights of the Hungarian Chureh, which were anterior to the conclusion of that act, and to which, besides, Hungary had always ro- mained a stranger, and intended to continue so. This reply is a decided refasal on the part of the Archbishop. The foliowing paragraph is going the round of the Paris journals; — Prince Moketlayo, son-in-law of Queen Pomare, is ex- pected in Paris early in October. This Oceanic Prinee is ‘8 Parisian of pure blood, well known on the Boulevards; and, if we aro not mistakon, the real name of the Prines is Rogues, and he held the piano two yvearsago at Variet’s theatro as accompanier.
