For several months past Henry or Harrison Clark, a man about thirty-five yeare of age, has been employed ‘as an operator in the Daguerrenn gallery of Mr. Charles W. Gray, 421 Broadway. Usually Mr. Clark was sober and steady, bnt for the last two weeks Mr. Gray has ob- served that he seemed to be more or Jese uuder the in- fluence of liquor. Clark slept in one of the upper rooms of tho premises, and occasionally has invited Mary Hyatt, a dissolute woinman—for whom, unfortunately, he had formed a warm attachment—to visit the gallery after business hours and in the evening. Last Wed- nesday Mary was arrested for intoxication, or disorderly conduct and sent to the Tombs.
