Yesterday afternoon Captain Jourdan, of the Sixth pro- cinct, and bank detective Hays made a very important arrest in the person of Albert Unterkols, a German, twenty five years of age, who stands charged with forgery. From the facts as at present developed it ap- pears that on the 21st inst, Unterbols called upon Messrs, F. Hoppenheimer & Co., prin‘ers, doing businoss at Noe. 22 and 24 North William street, and left an order for the printing of one thousand checks on the American Ex change National Bank, the order purporting to have been given by Messra. J. A.
