The stock market continues strong and extremely ‘otive, the transactions iu Rock Island, Michigan Southern and Cleveland and V’ittsburg to-day having been enor- mons. The upward tendency of prices is very decided. ‘At the early session of the open board the market was Birong. At the first reguiar board there was an active nod rather excited demand for Rock Island and Reading, and the remainder of the raiiway list was firm.
