The recent decision of the United States Supreme Court in favor of tne Ohio and Mississippi Company makes the city of Cincinnati a e:ommon stockholder to the amount of a million of dollars, instead of a first mortgage bond- holder to that extent, thereby confirming the decision of the court below. Ths removes the impediment to an immediate discharge of the receiver and the reorganiza- tion of the company, by whieh certificate holders will receive stock for their certificates.
