Mr, Morrison alleges that on the ‘28th ultimo Beil calied at the store and presented to him & paper purporting to bo a telegraphic despatch received over the wires of the United States Telegraph Company from Mossra. Harden, Tuller & Co., of St. Louis, requost- ing that the firm of Messrs, Claflin & Co. immediately for- ward to them cortain cases of goods, named in the despatch. Mr. Morrison, believing the despatch to be genuine, received it, and gave Bell four dollars and twenty cents, which the latter alloged was due the tele- raph company.
