Wasmixeton, April 19, 1865. Tt was stated in the Hsraup of the 17th inst: that’ Senator Farwell, of Maine, was the first to apprise the ‘Vice President of the murder of Mr. Lincoln. This is an error. It was ex-Governor Farwell, of Wisconsin, now which would give of the Patent Office, who boards at the Kirk- ‘wood House. Governor Farwell was at Ford's theatre at the time of the assassination of President Lincoln.
