Tus Ho oF A Rainoap Conpveror —Coroner Wildey yesterday concluded the inquisition previously cowmenced in the case of Patvick Ganley, late conductor @f car No. 41 of the Second Avenue Railroad line, who ‘was killed on Sunday evening by being struck on the head witb @ paving stone thrown at him by one of a number of young ruffians who had ridden down with him from the ‘Bpper part of the city. The testimony showed that the stone was thrown by one Martin Devitt. After hearing several witnesses. the Coroner closed the case and gave 3t to the jury, who rendered the following verdict: — «That Patrick Ganley came w his death a injuries at ‘the hands of Martin Devitt, May 8, 1864. ‘We consider Jobn Sullivan an accessory to the fact.’? On the above Yerdict Joho Sullivan was committed to the Tombs to anewer any indictment the Grand Jury may find against him. Corover Wildey committed Eugene Sullivan to the House of Detention, “The boy Devitt is yet at large, with Little or no prospect of his being arrested. ‘The prisoner, Jobn Sullivan, is fifteen years of age, and lives at 523¢ Bowery.
