Pittsburg fell back to the price of Saturday evening, on a story that the Fort Wayne directors would not ratify the contract of consolidation on Wednesday next. So far as we can Jearn, this might cause the price of Fort Wayne stock to fall, but should not affect the price of Pittsburg securities. The President and several directors of the Pittsburg were op- posed to the consolidation. Of the two lines the Fort Wayne will be the greater gainer by the new plun—which, however delayed, is sure to be con- summated at last.
