Butterworth attends on behalf of the Union men of New York city, and Alderman Dayton, of Brook- lyn, ls present to reprosent the Union mon of Kings county. The proposition for plactoz six Union electors on the Dougias ticket to M1) vacancies, and for putting Henry S. ‘Randall on for elector at large, appears perfectly accepta- dle to the State Committee, provided that the parties | thus placed on the ticket will accept aud declare them Golves favorable to fusion. They complain, too, because they are not allowed to spread their arguments in favor of republican doctrines before the Southeru people.
