The Supreme Court bas named the Judges of the na- tional districts, in conformity with the law of 29th June respecting the jadicial power of the confederation. For the district of Panama there have been named Sr. Fran- cizco de Ia Osea, Chief Judge; Sr. J. M. Vives Leon, First Substitute, and Sr. Joaquin Asprilia, Second Substitute. ‘The Attorney General of the nation, Sr. Bartolome Calvo, has approved of the nominations for the offices of District Attorneys fcr the State of Panama—Priscipal, Sr. Jose Arotemens; First Substitute, Sr, José Remon, and Second Substitute, Sr. Cotanio, ‘The stsnaicg army of the confederation has been Oxed at one regiment and a half; a regiment of infantry t be stationed at Bogota and half a regiment of artillery to be permanently guartered at Panama.
