Under the ordivance authorizing the Compirolier to geue revenue bonds to meet current expenses, he has borrowed sinco the Ist of Jaruary last the sum of 1$4,129,060, tp anticipation of the tax, which, by law, sphould bo ready for collection on the lst of September. ‘He says :— ‘The revenue bonds are haved on the revenue derived ‘from the enoual rg nd hence the tax lovy, which «amounts to $6,006,506 62, estabiishes @ very broad bass for borrowing 0D revenue bonds.
