The Survey of the Cyclops on the Telegraphic Plateau. \ TO THE EDITOR OF THE HERALD. ‘Fo all interested in the success or failure of the Ocean selegraph, it will be of interest to examine the report of recently sent out by the dritish go- to the laying of the cable. It will be remembered that a stmtlar survey was made by our own government of this same route, frem St. Jobns, Newfoundland, to Valentia, in the southwest of Ireland, nearly a year ago.
