ond THE PUBLIC HEALTH: ur ‘We learn from the Health Officer that there are but two cases of yellow fever now in the Marine Hospital, ‘Staten Island, one of which came very near eloping from Dr. Harris yesterday, op board of steamboat ling at the Quarantine wharf, and that uearly all the vessels arriving ‘are healthy. One vessel oaly has been ordered oif the Boutb weet Spit for nine days past. Everything on the outside and inside of Quarantine is tn a state of quietude. The ‘‘ingurrectionists’’ and “‘re- gulars’’ have ceased active warfare, and have concluded to submit all further differences to the slow and sure process of law. The seven stevedores who were arrested on Monday morning for leaving the Quarantine limits were discharged yesterday afternoon, their employers having promised ‘their better behavior in future. ‘The decrease of the yellow fever in the hospital is } mown to the people retiving in Castleton and the vicini- Y¥, and the alarm which recenuy prevailed has entirely subsided. ‘The Commissioners of Health met as usual yesterday _ Moon, in the City Hall.
