Fata AccwEst ON THE SxcoND AVENUE RAILROAD,—On Sunday afternoon a boy named John C, Davis, residing with his parents at No. 29 Second street, while riding on the front platform of one of the Second Avenue Rail. road cars, either accidentally fell or jamped off to the wement, and received such severe injuries that he died st tow bours afterwards. It was found, on examining the body of the youth, that severe ‘compression of the brain had taken place, which was the immediate cause of death, An inquest was held upon the body of the deceeeed, when a verdict of ‘Death from compression of tke brain prodaced by a fall’ was rendered by the jury.
