As his ietended claim is so ridiculous, it was considered at Kist entirely unworthy of notice, but as inquiries have been made at the office of the Company in relation to it, the Company, for the information of its stockholders, would state, that their interest in the tract of land in question was recently acquired by the Company, and is no portion of the large amount of lands on which the Company was orgamzed. The tract in question had beet in litigation ‘before we Pyrchasod, but the title had been confirmed to those of whom the Company purchased by the highest courts in Virginia, and is consi‘ered beyond dispute.
