Daata Cavsep py YELLOW Fever—A Veavicr or Cgy- s0nz.—Coroner Wilhelm yesterday held an inquest at No. 64 Chrystie street, on the body of Sebastian Gebhard, a German by birth, forty years of age, whose death was caused = rellow fever, probably contracted on board the steamsbi Dp icenpice City, from Havana, which arrived here on Tuesday last. About fourteen ays ago he sent his wife a fetter from Havana, stating ‘that he would return to New York, three of his friends had died there from yellow fever. Her daughter, with whom she was living, immediately sent a doctor, who applied the usual remedies, but sho died in a few hours. Coroner Withelm held an inquest upon the body. ‘The jury rendered a verdict af “Death from an ove: of laudanum, she being unaware of the poisonous nature of the drug.’’ Deceased was a native of Scotland, ard sixty years of age.
