At about seven o'clock the company was marshalled and marched int? the banquet room, headed by a Scetch piper, in full rational costume, bonnet, kilt, tartans and all. The grand dining room of the Metropolitan was allotted tothe St. Andrew's Society, the erdinary guests of the house dining in the rocm on the lower floor. The banquet reom was tastefully decorated. In the interval between the courses the piper marched around the room, playing a series of nati nal airs on his inatra- ment, ard awakening mush enthusiasm among his cempstriots.
