Fulton Copper Company is looking up again, after a long period of neglect. The company have, we believe, been actively at work, and considerab‘e pro- grees made in developing the mine. North Caroline is ia ® very prosperous condition. Its engine will soon be in operation, when large quantities of ore will be prepared for market. Now Creek Coal contiaues firm at 3 per cent. At the reoond board there was quite a seasatiin in the fancy stock market, Camberland Osal fell of 5% per cent; Nicaragua Transit, 2; Hudson River Ratlroad, 734; Erie Railroad, 14; Harlem, 44. A portion of this decline may be recovered to: morrow; bat prices canmot long be sustained where they are. At the Mining board to-day the sales were as follow 1¢0 shares Falton Copper.2 500 sha Fulton C...b90 2% 100 do. 2 200do. Thore is noth ing im the acovunts new or important. Quotationg for cotton remained unebarged. Prices were very unset tled, Breadstoffa bad slightly improved, and the mar- kete closed firm. In che money markets no important alteration im ratee bad taken place. The impression that the market is becoming more stringent is becoming more general. The stock of bul.ion in the bank shows « further decrease. For ten consecutive weeks there has been & decrease averaging about £200,000 per woek, mak- ing » total of about £2 000,000 durizg that period. If it continues mnch longer at this rete, it must Inevitably lead to more stringent measures to check theeffiux. Wa cee 0 probability of an immediate turn ia the current of bullion. The importations of grain from the continent will cause a futher animore hesvy drain upon the stock of bollion. Everything in the floancial world points to most stringent times, and we must be prepared for eeverel turns in the screws. Mr. Draper will bold bia regular weekly sale of stooks to morrow—Friday—at the Morchants’ Exchange, at haif past twelve o’c'ock, Some very desirable sesuritios will be offered. Directly after the stock sale, fifty tons of copper ors, from the Springfield mine, Carroll sounty, Maryland, of about twenty per cont richness, will be sold, deliverable on bonrd vossel ut Baltimore, This company wil, we learn, have reguier sales of orein fifty ton jots, It is in active operation, and ite product, thus far, hes been highly satisfactory. ~ The holders of the bonds of the New York and New Haven Railroad, due on the 1st of Decomber next, have the privilege of exchanging them at par foc bonds dua in 3806, by leaving them for registry at the office of the compeny previous to the let of Novembor next. ‘The arnual moeting of tho Newbuyport Rallrond was held on Monday.
