Bostow, May 16, 1852. In the House, this morning, the bill for the further tection of personal liberty, came up on its engrossmont, and was «efeated by cleven majority. The bill, had it become a law, would have conflicted directly with the Fugitive Slave law, Movements of Kossuth, HIS REOEPTION AT ALBANY, Aunany, May 16, 1852. The Common Council Committee, and those from societics, had a meeting this morning. to make arrange$ ments for tho reception of Kossuth. There was consider able enthusiasm, and several patriotic speeches wore made. Tho probablity is now, that his reception and entor- tainment will be magnificont and liberal. He will be provided with quartors at Congress Hall. Kossuth will be met at Pittsfield, or Springfield, on Tuesday, by Col. Temple, and a portion of the Governor's Staff, on the part of the State, and by the reception committce of the Board of Aldermen. On the arrival of Korsuth at Albany, he will be received by tho Rooorder, and, under a military escort,will proceed to the City Hall, where he will be introduced to the Mayor and subsequent- ly to the Governor, and then to his apartments at ( gress Hall. where the most liberal provision has been made for the comfort of Kossuth and his suit.
