The Montesquious—Forgery Case—Convictron for Murder—Misourt Polrtics—Business— Steamboat who, it will be Tecollected, have been once tried in the ¢riminal court of this county, for the alleged murder of T. K. Barnum and Albert Jones, hes been again postponed, and it is now generally understood that at the November term of the court a nolle prosegui will be entered, and the accused discharged. The younger of the two, who is of sane mind, has, for several months, been at large on bail, while the elder, Gonzalve, has been undergoing close con- finement and medical treatment, at the hospital of the Sisters of Charity. His insanity is of the melan- cholic order, and at times he appears quite rational Yesterday morning early, he eluded his keepers and escaped to the streets.
