Congress still on the Appropriation bills— Episode in the Senate on the Galphim claim— House not yet ready for the Ebony Line Amendment, &c- Both houses of Congress have been hard at worls to-day on the General Appropriation bill. An episode of « very amusing character occurred! in the Senate, on the subject of the famous Galphim claim. A proposition to add to the Civil and Diplomatie bill a Georgia claim of some kind, by Mr. Berrien, Mr. Bright opposed, and said the politicians, the newspapers, and the couatry, had had enough of one Georgia claim already, which had been paicl out of the public treasury.
