The steamship Tennessee arrived at Pana- ma from San Francisco, which port she left on the 21st of April, with one million of dollars worth of gold on board, (eight passengers.) How much of this is gold dust, and how much coin, does not appear in the report. Counterfeit gold dollars are in circulation. They are well calculated to deceive. The amount of coal brought down by the Reading Railroad, during the past week, was 26,140 tons—total for the season, 430,333 towns. By the Schuylkill Canal for the week, 16,040 tons—total for the season, 135,618 tons. Certificates of gold deposits, to No. 1,904, will be pay- able on Monday. This includes all gold dust deposited ‘to the 7th inst.
