Saturday, Feb. 16—6 P, M. ‘The stock market still continues moderately buoyant. ‘The cash operations are falling off,'and most of the wales are buyer's option. We should judge from this that purobasers were weak, and wanted the benefit of the full time, in the event of prices depreciating. Large sales on time, buyer’s option, is the best evidence in the world that epeculetors for a rise are limited, and bere not the means to buy for cash, and dare not pur- chase seller's option, fearful the stcok might come in ‘when they could not take it. Harlem appears to be the mort feverish fancy in the list; and it will be seen that im the sales to-dey, thers wase difference of one per cent. between cash and seller's option ninety days. ‘This difference the bears willingly submit to, in their anxiety to put out contracts on time, sellers option. ‘We noticed this great difference in prices between seller's and buyer's eption, just previous to the panic end break down in the last speculation. At the first board, to-day, United States 6's, 1867, Obio 6's, Erie Bonds, new, and Farmers’ Loan, went up M per cent each; Erie Railroad and Reading Rail- road 1 per cent each; Morris Canal 3; Illinois \.
