IN OTHER PLACES. ‘The Richmond, (Va) Enquirer, of the Sd inst. says: — We are pained to announce that this dreadful scourge peared in its most malignant type at Shirley, the ence of Mr, Mill Carter, hursday last; and we understand that up to Sua- day night there bad been fifteen deaths; und at the time boat for Richmond passed esterday, three mero were in a dying condition, Allwere blacks. The mor- tality has been so great that Mr. Carter has left his fine field of luxuriant wheat unharvested.
