Quick Arrest.— Officer McManus, of the Sixth ward, atreeted yesterday morning three notorivus thieves, called Peter Boyan, Bill Thompson, and Joba Simp: fon, on # charge of stealing from the premtres No 32 Orange sireet, $27, the property of James Cassidy ; about two o'clock yesterday morning, Cassidy fell asleep in his store, and while thus sleeping. the three ‘thieves stepped in and stole the monvy ; 8000 afver the officer was informed of the fact, and in lvaq than an hour after,ke hed them all in custody, having found them down at Catharine Market, takiog their coffee and cakes on the stolen money. On nearohing the prigoners, $21 of the stolen monvy was recovered, Justice MoGrath committed all three to the Tombs for trial.
