Insubordination still rages fiercely in the ranks of the democracy of this city. The Young Men’s Democratic Association, of the city and county, numbering some 2000 members, held their semi-annual election for off- cers, last eveuing. Two champions, pitted and spurred, were oput forth by the two branches of the party, but the Buchananites appear to be in the ascendant. as their candidate (Martin J. Daugherty, Esq) was tri- umphantly elected, receiving more than two-thirds of the votes polled. The Dalles men to-day are quite crest fallen, aud vow vengeance upon Daugherty, for routing them, not only this time, but being iustiumental on a former occasion, in giving them a Waterloo defeat.
