Should we receive favorable advices from the East or from the South, prices for all kinds of stocks will advance, without much doubt, several per cent; should, on the contrary, the news be unfavorable, we do not anticipate mubh decline, as quo- tations rule at present so very low] that holders will not part with them, and we believe they are generally so held that they can be kept out of the market.
