After the departure of the Hibernia on the Ist instant, there was less business doing.-neither buyers nor scllers boing’disposed to make operations until the effect of the Cambria’s news on the Liverpool market was known. About the 8th instant the ships Liberty and Southerner arrived with dates to the Lith of March. Up to this date, uo perceptible change was appurent, with the ex. ception that freights began to show a decided downward tendency, and exchange was held stiffer, which induced a moderate enquiry for shipment. Cranseston, April 25. — Immediately after the receipt of the Cambria's telegraphic and condensed accounts on Saturday morning, quite a lively demand sprang up in the Uplaad market, during which holders at once ad- vanced former rates. On Saturday, also, great dulinoss prevailed, and searcel: more than 800 bales were disposed of, rices sti rather in favor of vopers, On Sunday, by @ succession of packet arrivals at the Northern ports, we were put in possession of further E} accounts, the latest bein vo the 21st ult. brought to Boston by the ship Washing- ton Irving.
